Welcome
Rachel Warwick, Interim CEO
I am delighted to welcome you to the SMĀĻ°ķ.
The SMĀĻ°ķ family currently comprises 37 primary academies, including three Church schools, and 22 school-based nurseries divided into six educational hubs across Cornwall. Our settings stretch from Carbis Bay in the west to Bude in the far northeast; from Grade Ruan towards the tip of the Lizard Peninsula to Tintagel on the rugged north coast. The trust also owns an outdoor education facility, Carnyorth Education Centre in Pendeen, and runs a beach school at Carlyon Bay, St Austell.
From just a three-school trust back in 2013, the SMĀĻ°ķ team has continually strived to ensure our children get the very best education possible. We don’t just aim for our children to achieve what is average or expected, but for them to excel both academically and in character.
Whatever its size and location, each academy proudly retains its own identity and sense of place in their local community but as a member of a large and dynamic family, the SMĀĻ°ķ DNA runs through every one, binding the trust together with one clear mission:
Nurturing curiosity, resilience, respect and excellence; our children will thrive and live life well.
Team SMĀĻ°ķ is better and stronger together.
